The expansion of artificial intelligence in the educational and professional community is transforming content creation, generating opportunities and challenges that require contextualized analysis. This study examines the levels of knowledge, frequency of use, and perceived advantages of AI among users in Ecuador and Peru, countries with comparable educational systems. A quantitative methodology was applied through a survey of 493 participants, including university students and professionals. The results show a positive relationship between knowledge and frequent use of AI, with differences by region, age, and gender. The use of generative tools such as ChatGPT and the growth of Canva AI in visual creation stand out, confirming the transformative impact of AI on academic and professional communication.
