Este estudio examina cómo los restaurantes tradicionales de la costa atlántica colombiana emplean estrategias de comunicación visual en las plataformas de redes sociales para representar el patrimonio gastronómico dentro de la cultura visual contemporánea. Basada en una perspectiva de artes visuales, la investigación se centra en la narración visual, la composición estética y las narrativas digitales como mecanismos a través de los cuales se construyen y comunican la identidad cultural y la autenticidad. Utilizando un enfoque de métodos mixtos, el estudio analiza la presencia, los patrones de interacción y los formatos visuales adoptados por los restaurantes en diferentes plataformas, destacando tanto las prácticas comunicativas como las limitaciones tecnológicas. Los resultados revelan un predominio de contenidos visuales estáticos y una innovación limitada, lo que subraya la necesidad de reforzar las narrativas visuales que contribuyen tanto a la representación cultural como al posicionamiento competitivo.
