Abstract

The integration of digital technologies has transformed museums into hybrid and distributed spaces, expanding their communicative, educational and experiential capacities beyond traditional physical boundaries, particularly in rural heritage contexts. This article analyses audiovisual narrative generated through artificial intelligence as a mediating device, based on the case of La Voz de las Torres, developed within the European project HERIT ADAPT, focused on the Nasrid defensive system of Western Granada.
The research adopts a qualitative approach based on a case study and practice-based research. The results show that these narratives enhance accessibility, structure dispersed heritage systems and foster territorial understanding, proposing a replicable model of hybrid musealisation.
